Title: A Change of Seasons
Rating: Teen (Possibly lower)
Warnings: None
Summary: A look at Nick and Natalie's relationship through a series of snapshots. Deviates from canon in part three.

  1. Part One: The Crimson Sunrise
  2. Part Two: Innocence
  3. Part Three: Carpe Diem
  4. Part Four: The Darkest of Winters
  5. Part Five: Another World
  6. Part Six: The Inevitable Summer
  7. Part Seven: The Crimson Sunset
I have vague plans to do a rewrite of this at some point. I still like the original enough that I'll probably leave them both up.

Summary

Disclaimer:
These characters are not mine. And a couple of lines are lifted from the song that inspired this fic.

A/N: This is my first Nick and Nat fic. It was inspired by a song by Dream Theater. It was originally written in 1999, and beta read by the wonderful Meg Anderson and Kathy Walsh. Sorry if the formatting is a bit odd.

Most of these stories are fairly old, and I haven't reread them in a while, so genre labels are a bit hit or miss. I'm working on them.
I was a Dark Perk, Vaquera, and T+Vpack, in case anyone who recognizes those labels stumbles across this.
Most of these are stand alone one shots.
  • A Change of Seasons- An exploration of Nick and Nat's relationship told through a series of snapshots. (Seven Parts)
  • All of the Time- An April Fool's Day one shot.
  • The Burial of the Dead- Tracy survives "Last Knight", and tries to come to terms with what happened.
  • Meetings- Lacroix meets Nick's new partner for the first time. (First in a series.)
  • A Conversation- Lacroix sits Vachon down for a little chat. (Second in a series.)
  • Responsibility- After a hard day a work, Tracy receives a surprise visit from Vachon. (Third in a series.)
  • Unwelcome Guest- Tracy's sister drops by. (Fourth in a series.)
  • Whispers in the Dark- Adult. Tracy makes reaches a decision, and goes to visit Vachon. (Fifth in a series.)
  • Day of Reckoning- Tracy faces the music with her partner. (Last in a series.)
  • Coroner's Lab- A Forever Knight Filk! Mercifully short.
  • Fade In- What happened after the fade out at the end of "Last Knight."
  • I'd Like to Make a Request-The Nightcrawler takes song requests.
  • If I Go Away- Tracy makes a song request after "Ashes to Ashes." (Songfic)
  • Just One of Those Days- Tracy's bad day is not improved by skeevy vampires hitting on her at the Raven.
  • Lacroix vs. Web Based Email- The march of technology annoys the author Nightcrawler.
  • Lest We Forget- A short piece of Nick's past. Inspired by a quote from an unrelated piece of fiction.
  • Mirror, Mirror- Nick receives a head injury, and wakes to a different world.
  • Next Evening- My first FK fanfic. Inspired by watching "Last Knight" for the first time.
  • Saturday Night Boredom- At the time I wrote this, FK fandom was rife with factions who freely interacted with the characters. This is a, brief, self-insert fic with Vachon dropping by the headquaters of one of them while no one else is home. A situation that can only end in porn a game of darts.
  • Shattered Dreams- The search for a way back to humanity weighs heavy on those who seek it.
  • Silk and Shadows- Adult. Tracy and Vachon PWP.
  • Waiting- Vachon returns from the dead in time for the events of "Last Knight."
