Title: I'd Like to Make a Request
Summary: The Nightcrawler gets a caller with a few song requests.
Genre: Humor
Rating: G
"I'd like to make a request."
"Of course," Lacroix purred. He was having a good night. His
monologue on the darkness of the human soul was coming off better
than even he expected.
"Can you play "I'm Walking on Sunshine by Katrina and the Waves?"
Lacroix glowered at the phone. Whoever this woman was, he hoped she
wasn't a representation of his current audience. "No," he growled.
"Okay, how about Shiny, Happy People by R.E.M.?" the woman chirped.
"No." Lacroix growled, his eyes beginning to glow.
"Hmm...Okay how about something by K.C. and the Sunshine Band?"
"Absolutely NOT!" Lacroix reached out and hit the disconnect button
with a snarl.
Across town, Tracy Vetter dropped her receiver back into it's
cradle with an evil snicker.
The End.
